Reform and Exploration of the Practical Teaching System for the Major of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering

Abstract: In order to further enhance the practical ability of students majoring in water conservancy and hydropower engineering, promote the construction of first-class undergraduate majors and the transformation of applied majors, under the background of engineering education certification and the transformation of applied majors, we innovatively propose a diversified and progressive practical teaching model that combines virtual and real teaching, dual teacher joint training, and“three practice and one design”. This model comprehensively improves students'practical ability and comprehensive literacy from the aspects of teaching conditions, teacher resources, and teaching mode. The practice period has proved that the implementation effect of this practical teaching system is good and has been well received by students.
