Study on the Cultivation of English Majors in Application-Oriented Institutions under the Perspective of Industry -Education Integration

Abstract: Industry-education integration is a deep combination of industry and education, a talent cultivation mode in which both parties integrate advantageous resources to promote the synergistic development of education and industry. On the basis of elaborating the relation between industry-education industry and the cultivation of English talents in applied undergraduate colleges, the paper discusses the current situation of English talents cultivation in such universities, combines the advantages of the industry-education integration and the cooperation between schools and enterprises, and puts forward the teaching reforming proposals in four aspects, namely, the optimization of curricular resources, clarifying the goal of applied-English talents, the construction of teachers and the establishment of a guarantee mechanism for the integration of industry and education.
