Abstract: In the construction of new engineering disciplines, the electrical engineering and automation major's core foundational course, electrical engineering, has strong theoretical and abstract concepts, making it difficult for students to understand and learn. Meanwhile, traditional teaching methods have problems such as insufficient interaction between teachers and students, disconnection between theory and practice, lack of cultivation of application and innovation abilities, fragmented knowledge, insufficient integration of ideological and political elements, and an incomplete collaborative education mechanism. To address these issues, this paper proposes to construct a“three-stage one-model”hybrid teaching mode, implement a“class-competition-innovation three integration”practical teaching mode, create a“dual-structure three-knowledge”course knowledge map, and establish a“four-dimensional multi-element matrix”ideological and political education case library. Through these measures, students'in-depth understanding of theoretical knowledge is promoted, and their practical abilities, innovation capabilities, and problem analysis abilities are comprehensively enhanced.
