Abstract: Engineering education accreditation is a primary direction for the construction of undergraduate programs in modern universities. To enhance the efficiency and quality of course teaching in the field of communication engineering and promote the comprehensive development of students, the evaluation of course objectives'achievement plays a crucial role within the context of engineering education accreditation. This paper, in conjunction with the engineering education accreditation work of the Internet of things engineering program at Dalian Nationalities University, conducts a comprehensive assessment of teaching effectiveness by analyzing the overall realization of course objectives and the distribution of individual student learning outcomes. It further delves into the influencing factors. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes targeted optimization strategies to improve teaching quality. Practice has shown that evaluation data can intuitively display teaching effectiveness, providing reference for the optimization and enhancement of teaching outcomes in the Internet of things engineering program.
