Abstract: The demand for high-quality skilled talents in society is constantly increasing. Vocational skills competitions provide students with a platform to showcase abilities and also point out the direction for teaching reform in vocational colleges. This article focuses on the reform of the teaching mode of the analysis and inspection technology major in vocational colleges based on vocational skills competitions. It explores talent cultivation strategies in combination with the analysis and inspection technology major, aiming to closely integrate theory with practice, enhance students'practical abilities and professional qualities, promote students'deep understanding of professional knowledge in practical operations, improve students'hands-on abilities, better adapt to industry needs, and enhance employment competitiveness.
