Abstract: Starting from the perspective of new quality productivity, this article explores the innovation and development of teaching models for higher mathematics courses in vocational colleges, and cultivates technical and skilled talents who meet market demand, have innovative spirit, and social competitiveness. By analyzing the impact of new quality productivity on higher mathematics education, this paper explores the innovation of teaching models for higher mathematics courses in vocational colleges, mainly from the aspects of textbooks, teaching methods, teacher and student assessments. By integrating online resources, digital resources, professional cases, ideological and political elements, modeling ideas, diversified teaching resources, multimedia technology into the entire process of higher mathematics education, teachers are required to master new concepts, technologies, methods, professional knowledge, etc., enhance their comprehensive teaching and education capabilities, establish a diversified, scientific, and comprehensive assessment and evaluation method, cultivate more high-quality skilled talents with innovative spirit and practical ability, and provide strong talent support and intellectual guarantee for economic and social development.
