Abstract: The implementation of career education in vocational undergraduate colleges is not only a means to enhance the employment ability of vocational undergraduate students and promote their comprehensive development, but also an effective measures to meet the development needs of China's skilled society and cultivate high-level technical and skilled talents such as skilled craftsmen and national craftsmen. This article takes Nanjing University of Industry Technology, the first public vocational undergraduate institution in China, as an example to introduce its three-stage operation model and five implementation mechanisms of career education system, from early preparation, to specific implementation, and then to process control; Identify the challenges faced by vocational undergraduate colleges in the implementation of career education, including educational evaluation, professional integration, and industry education integration, and attempt to analyze and solve them to provide optimization ideas.
