Abstract: MATLAB course teaching is a practical activity that integrates theory teaching, model building and simulation analysis, which plays an important role in training of applied, innovative and compound talents in electrical engineering in independent colleges. This paper analyzes teaching situation and existing problems of the course under environment of highly informationized technology and reorganizes core knowledge points, which construct knowledge project-based unit groups deepening linkage teaching of lecturing, watching, learning, practicing, doing and evaluating of whole course that updates and upgrades traditional assessment mode. The reforms effectively stimulate students'internal driving force for learning and form an efficient “teaching-learning-application”interactive mechanism. Meanwhile these improvement measures realize integration of curriculum knowledge, further sublimate quality of curriculum teaching, improve comprehensive quality of students and achievement of training goal about application-oriented technical talents.
