Construction and Application of the Quality Evaluation System of Graduation Project of “Three Abilities, Whole Process and Four Dimensions” in Art Colleges

Abstract: Graduation project (thesis) is the important and comprehensive practical teaching link in college talent training, which is highly valued by colleges and universities. Under the background of the popularization of higher education, how to highlight the characteristics of art colleges and improve the quality of graduation design has become an important issue that needs to be completed urgently for the high-quality development of art colleges and universities. This subject adheres to the overall goal of cultivating “high-quality applied talents with high moral character, broad vision, solid foundation, outstanding professional application ability, strong innovation and entrepreneurship ability, all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical skills, the aesthetics and labor”. It focuses on students, takes digital technology as support, takes professional application ability training as the main line, and takes whole-process monitoring and multi-dimensional evaluation as the means, constructs“three abilities and four dimensions of the whole process”graduation project (thesis) quality evaluation system, and applies it in teaching practice, further standardize the management of graduation design, improve the efficiency and quality of graduation design guidance, stimulate students to carry out the endogenous motivation of graduation design, promote the full achievement of graduation design goals.
