Exploring the Application of Micro Courses in Veterinary Surgery and Surgical Technique

Abstract: Many online teaching methods have emerged with the rapid development of network technology, allowing people to access educational resources anytime and anywhere. Micro courses are a form of online teaching that primarily uses short educational videos as the main medium. Due to its advantages such as clear-cut theme, specific direction, and rich resources, micro courses have gradually become a favored teaching model among university teachers and students. The course of veterinary surgery and surgical technique is highly practical and applied. In theoretical teaching, it is necessary to integrate practical teaching. This study explored the advantages and disadvantages of applying micro courses to the teaching of veterinary surgery and surgical technique, as well as the advantages of the organic integration and mutual complementation with theoretical teaching. It aimed to further enhance teaching quality and promote the rapid development of veterinary professional education in the process of educational reform.
