Abstract: Vocational colleges are adapting to the changes in the manufacturing industry’s “smart transformation” and “digital transformation”, actively connecting with “going global” enterprises, and participating in the international market development of enterprises from multiple dimensions. This has become a priority choice for vocational education to expand its international development path. However, it also faces prominent problems such as low enthusiasm of enterprises to participate in the integration of industry and education, insufficient conditions for the digital transformation of vocational colleges, and inadequate linkage mechanisms between schools and enterprises. Starting from the interests and demands of manufacturing enterprises, this article proposes to implement a classified talent training model based on the construction of a diversified governance system, enhance the adaptability of higher vocational education, improve the soft power of China’s manufacturing “going global”, and make the deep integration of industry and education an “important window” for the internationalization of China’s higher vocational education.
