Exploration of the Path for Cultivating Innovative and Entrepreneurial Practical Abilities in Applied Universities Based on OBE-CDIO for “Bidirectional Integration” —Taking Xi'an Mingde Institute of Technology as an Example

Abstract: The cultivation of practical abilities in entrepreneurship and innovation is an important part of the entrepreneurship and innovation education system in applied undergraduate universities. Its essence is to provide core support for cultivating high-quality innovative talents and providing high-quality employment for applied undergraduate graduates. The insufficient cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship practical abilities in application-oriented undergraduate universities mainly includes a lack of achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education, a lack of composite teachers, insufficient integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and a lack of targeted policy support. Based on the practice and exploration of the cultivation path of innovation and entrepreneurship practical ability in recent years, a “two-way integration” strategy based on OBE-CDIO is proposed to reconstruct the implementation path of innovation and entrepreneurship practical ability cultivation. And propose a lightweight school enterprise cooperation: studio enterprise approach to open up a new mode of practical training for entrepreneurship and innovation.
