Reform of Higher Education Teaching Based on Artificial Intelligence Technology

Abstract: The swift advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has led to its increasing penetration and integration into the realm of higher education, unhering transformations. AI technology poses both significant challenges and opportunities for the teaching and learning processes within higher education institutions. It is imperative to adapt teaching philosophies and methodologies to accommodate and spearhead educational innovation amidst this backdrop. This paper analyzes how AI technology can catalyze the innovation of teaching philosophies among higher education faculty and foster the enhancement of their professional expertise and technical competencies. Furthermore, it delineates the educational reforms undertaken by higher education institutions grounded in AI technology, encompassing dimensions such as teaching content, teaching methodologies, and teaching evaluation. The objective is to furnish novel insights and directions for the progression of higher education pedagogy in China during the AI era.
