Abstract: The Outcome-Based Education (OBE) concept, centered around students and oriented towards cultivating their practical application skills and innovative spirit, aligns with the national requirements for talents in the new engineering disciplines. Taking the production planning and control course in the industrial engineering program at Hefei University of Technology as an example, this study explores the reform of the course teaching model under the OBE concept. It focuses on the course objectives, content planning, teaching methods, and the construction of a multidimensional evaluation system, aiming to comprehensively promote and assess students'learning outcomes and skill development in the course.
