Teaching Reform of Environmental Engineering Comprehensive Experiment under the Background of First-Class Major

Abstract: Environmental engineering comprehensive experiment is an important link in the practical teaching system of environmental engineering major. Based on the background of first-class major construction, we analyzed the necessity of teaching reform about environmental engineering comprehensive experiment and put forward reform measures. According to the cultivation objectives and the strategy of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals”, we will carry out the reform of course content, strengthen the construction and application of course resources, implement the course teaching mode of “student-centered and teacher-led”, optimize course assessment methods, continuously cultivate the ability of teachers and the quality of students, and improve the course evaluation system. Through the teaching reform, students’motivation to carry out experiments will be improved, their ability to explore and challenge will be enhanced, and their ability to solve complex engineering problems will be upgraded.
