Abstract: A strong country must first strengthen education, and it is very important to accelerate the high-quality development of higher education and focus on building a high-quality higher education system. The current talent cultivation system is clearly phased, with incomplete connection between undergraduate and master's courses, and insufficient innovative and practical abilities of students, which seriously restricts the effectiveness of university education. Taking the course of grassland soil microbiology at Northeast Agricultural University as an example, we have explored and reflected on the construction of a“integrated talent cultivation system of undergraduate and master”in terms of course design, teaching content, teaching methods, and assessment methods, taking into account the problems of overlapping teaching content, insufficient interdisciplinary content, and lack of timely updating of cutting-edge progress content that existed during the undergraduate and master's stages.
