Innovation and Practice of Peacetime Assessment of the Course Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics for Overseas Students Integrating Adaptive Testing

Abstract: This paper analyzes the problems existing in the current assessment methods of public mathematics. Based on the good ability differentiation and cognitive diagnosis function of adaptive testing, this paper integrates adaptive testing into the teaching process, and puts forward a new assessment mode of ordinary grade of public mathematics course. Finally, taking the teaching practice of probability theory and mathematical statistics in Huaqiao University as an example, comparing the comprehensive score and questionnaire index, the results show that this evaluation model can realize the personalized teaching objectives and improve the teaching quality of the course.
