Current Situation and Reflections on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education for Nursing Students in Applied Undergraduate Colleges—Take a Certain College in Xinjiang as an Example

Abstract: With the improvement of people’s living standards and the strengthening of health awareness, nursing services are facing changes in marketisation, innovation and personalisation, which not only provides more opportunities for the career development of nursing students, but also puts forward higher requirements for their professionalism. In order to further understand nursing students’understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship, their participation in innovation and entrepreneurship course learning and practice activities, this study adopts questionnaires and data collation to analyse the problems in the process of carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education for nursing majors. Solution measures are proposed from four aspects, including the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum system, the training of teachers, the improvement of innovation and entrepreneurship practice conditions, and the enhancement of policies and activities publicity.
