Abstract: This article explores the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship competence among college students based on the Hope Theory. Through in-depth analysis of the Hope Theory, a theoretical model suitable for cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship competence among college students has been constructed. The research results indicate that the three core elements of hope theory - goals, paths, and motivation - have a significant impact on the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship competence among college students. Specifically, clear goal setting, effective path planning, and sustained motivation support can significantly enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship competence of college students. This article proposes corresponding cultivation strategies and suggestions, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities.
