Exploration and Practice of Cultivating College Students’ Innovation Ability Based on the Innovation Competition Platform of Advanced Mapping Technology

Abstract

Abstract: This study takes the innovation competition of advanced mapping technology and modeling on product information for college students in China(hereinafter referred to as the innovation competition of advanced mapping technology) as a platform to conduct research on cultivating innovation and practical abilities among college students. Adopting the methods of full process guidance and questionnaire survey, this study conducts a comprehensive analysis of the selection, cultivation, competition, and subsequent development of the Innovation Competition of Advanced Mapping Technology. It investigates the cultivation of innovation awareness and ability among college students at various stages of the competition, analyzes the impact of participating in the Innovation Competition of Advanced Mapping Technology on their later course learning and further education. And explores the important significance of the Innovation Competition of Advanced Mapping Technology in cultivating students'innovation ability and improving their scientific research level.
