Application of the Combination of “Competition Driven Learning” Course Competition Model in Vocational Education—Taking the Private Hualian Garden Plant Landscape Course as an Example

Abstract: The teaching reform goal of“promoting teaching through competition, promoting learning through competition, and integrating teaching and competition”in vocational competitions provides a good practical platform for vocational colleges. This article takes the landscaping course of Private Hualian College as an example to explore how the“competition driven learning” model can achieve a combination of courses and competitions in vocational education. From the characteristics and content of the model, the application and practice of the model, and the analysis of the results, the differences in teaching results between the “competition driven learning”teaching model and the traditional teaching model are compared. The application significance of the“competition driven learning”teaching model is analyzed and evaluated, in order to cultivate more high-quality landscape architecture skilled talents and provide services for the development of the landscape architecture industry.
