Abstract: This article proposes a comprehensive practical ability cultivation strategy for undergraduate students majoring in biomedical engineering based on the new medical perspective and guided by clinical needs. Taking the biomedical engineering comprehensive design course at Anhui Medical University as an example, by analyzing the particularity and intersection of professional courses, a comprehensive experimental course was designed, which includes four stages:theoretical knowledge, technical method input, software environment and hardware platform, and innovative output. The course covers software basics, general module design, project-based comprehensive experiments, and score evaluation and feedback. Diversified teaching methods were integrated into specific teaching. This article provides a new teaching model for the development and innovation of biomedical engineering.
