Way to Improve the Quality of College English Teaching from the Perspective of New Liberal Arts

Abstract: In the context of the steady progress of the national construction of new liberal arts, exploring the path to improve the quality of college English teaching has become an important research topic. This paper first summarizes the influence of the new liberal arts on college English teaching in various aspects. Then, based on the existing problems in college English teaching, it puts forward some suggestions from the perspective of teaching practice, such as optimizing curriculum, innovating teaching methods, strengthening teachers, optimizing evaluation system, etc., so as to provide help for improving the quality of college English teaching and facilitating students'professional learning and all-round development.
