Abstract: At present, there is still a gap between the talent cultivation model for innovation and entrepreneurship in universities and the requirements of the country to accelerate the construction of a high-quality education system. Therefore, it is particularly necessary to explore the innovation and entrepreneurship education model in colleges and universities. This paper is based on the background of promoting teaching by competition, summarizes the connotation and characteristics of promoting teaching by competition. Based on the current problems of unclear teaching objectives, disconnected curriculum design, and single faculty in innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities, it analyzes the current educational and teaching problem, constructs a comprehensive innovation and entrepreneurship education system, and builds a comprehensive innovation and entrepreneurship education platform for teaching, learning, and creating, and explores new paths of innovation and entrepreneurship education under the model of promoting teaching by competitions.
