Research on Improving the Ability and Quality of Physical Education Teachers in Basic Education in Heilongjiang Province

Abstract: There are problems with the teaching skills, professional development, and interaction with students of physical education teachers in basic education in Heilongjiang Province, which are also influenced by multiple factors such as educational policies, resource allocation, personal career development willingness, and social and cultural environment. In order to improve the ability and quality of teachers, this article proposes strategies such as optimizing internal resources, continuous self-development, mutual assistance and cooperation among teachers, and utilizing student feedback. Through practical exploration such as integrating internal and external resources, establishing teacher development groups, and conducting themed sports activities, it effectively enhances the teaching ability and professional quality of teachers, and stimulates students'interest in sports. It is expected that this study will provide reference for the improvement of the ability and quality of basic education physical education teachers.
