Abstract: Vocational undergraduate colleges are an important component of China's higher education system. In the context of globalization and technological change, the employment and entrepreneurship issues of vocational undergraduate students have become a focus of social attention. In the context of“mass innovation and entrepreneurship”, vocational undergraduate colleges are facing more opportunities and challenges, which also puts higher requirements on the employment and entrepreneurship work of vocational undergraduate students. This article elaborates on the significance of optimizing employment and entrepreneurship mechanisms, deeply analyzes the difficulties encountered by vocational undergraduate students in the process of employment and entrepreneurship, and proposes a series of optimization strategies based on the background of“double innovation”, aiming to provide guidance and reference for the employment and entrepreneurship of vocational undergraduate students.
