Abstract: Objective Taking North Anhui Health Vocational College as an example, analyze the application effect of blended learning combined with virtual simulation technology in the teaching of“1+X”maternal and child care course. Method 220 students from four nursing classes of North Anhui Health Vocational College in 2021 were selected from September 2022 to September 2023. Two classes were randomly selected as the control group and the other two as the observation group. The control group received conventional multimedia teaching, while the observation group received mixed teaching combined with virtual simulation technology. The teaching effects of the two groups were compared. Result The observation group's test scores, evaluation of teaching effectiveness, teaching quality scores, and CTDI-CV scores were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Taking North Anhui Health Vocational College as an example, the combination of blended learning and virtual simulation technology can effectively improve the teaching effectiveness of the“1+X”maternal and child care course, as well as the theoretical and operational performance of nursing students.
