Research on the Teaching Reform of Structural Engineering Based on Big Data and BIM Visualization Technology

Abstract: Internet Big data and BIM visualization technology not only promote the innovation in the field of architectural engineering, but also bring great changes in the teaching of structural engineering. In the teaching process, the use of Big data intelligent terminals can solve the diverse requirements brought about by the differentiation between students, and at the same time evaluate the teaching methods and teaching effects. Using the function of BIM visualization, classroom teaching can be combined with practical teaching, and a virtual simulation platform can be built to improve students'understanding of classroom knowledge and comprehensive practical ability. This project first introduces the application background of internet Big data and BIM visualization technology in the field of structure. Then, based on the advantages of Big data and BIM visualization technology, the implementation methods of Big data and BIM visualization in teaching are analyzed.
