Promoting Professional Skills through Competition—Taking Land Resource Management as an Example

Abstract: With the continuous development of society-economy-science and technology, the demand for technical talents in professional fields is increasing. This paper focuses on the cultivation of land resource management professionals in colleges and universities. Based on the testing and driving advantages of competition, it analyzes and explores the connotation and current situation of promoting students'professional skills through competition. It expounds that taking discipline competition as the starting point, combining the existing teaching mode, implementing the combination of competition and teaching, and promoting improvement and seeking development through competition. To achieve professional theory - practical application - independent exploration and other dimensions of ability improvement, training to adapt to the new era of land resource management skills compound talents, for the natural resources industry to transport advanced and sophisticated related technical talents.
