Exploration of Teaching Reform of Survey and Mapping Based on Virtual Simulation Experiment Platform—Case Study of Geography Major at Hubei University of Arts and Sciences

Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, surveying and mapping test software based on virtual simulation is gradually becoming an important tool in surveying and mapping course teaching in colleges and universities. By introducing a virtual simulation test platform - digital mapping virtual simulation software, Hubei University of Arts and Science has carried out teaching reform on the traditional surveying and cartography course, including taking“course and competition integration”as the premise, integrating curriculum ideological and political elements, improving“online + offline”mixed teaching, and expanding the school-enterprise cooperation space. The initial results of teaching reform can provide reference for other similar colleges and universities offering surveying and mapping courses in teaching mode.
