Exploration and Practice in Teaching Reform of Lectures on Frontiers of Chemical Industry

Abstract: As one of the most important components of the undergraduate curriculum system, lectures on frontiers of chemical industry is not only a necessary supplement to the basic courses, but also an effective extension of the core courses. Through the study of this course, students have the opportunity to fully understand the development of the advanced technology in chemical industry and clear the direction of further study and career. According to the talent cultivation program of the major of chemical engineering and technology, the teaching reform of lectures on frontiers of chemical industry is explored and practiced from the aspects of course contents, teaching methods, evaluation methods, and the construction of teaching staff. The concrete measure of teaching reform is also discussed. The results provide a reference for the teaching reform of the frontier lecture courses of related majors.
