Research on the Teaching Reform of Biotechnology Major in Medical Colleges and Universities——Taking Xinxiang Medical University as an Example

Abstract: Interdisciplinary integration is the inevitable trend of education and science development in contemporary society. It is of great importance and necessity to cultivate excellent innovative biomedical talents by the cross between biotechnology and medicine. This paper summarizes the reform and exploration of the teaching mode of biotechnology major in Xinxiang Medical University in recent years in the aspects of curriculum system, practical teaching, cultivation of students' innovative ability, academic tutor system, curriculum assessment and evaluation methods. Our research will cultivate high-quality innovative biomedical talents for the society and provide references for other medical universities to train biotechnology professionals.
