Abstract: This paper puts forward the necessity of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in higher vocational colleges in the new era from four aspects: the need to implement the innovation driven development strategy, the need to promote the growth of regional economic development, the need for high-quality development of higher vocational education, and the need for all-round development of people. At the same time, it analyzes the problems that need to be solved urgently and puts forward the "four three model" and innovation points that promote the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges. Finally, it explains the application effect of the "four three model" of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in higher vocational colleges taking Tianjin Vocational Institute as an example.
