Abstract: ：Improving the independent learning ability of college students is an important topic of current higher education research. Good independent learning ability is the premise of college students to study efficiently. At present, some college students lack of independent learning ability, there are a lack of motivation for independent learning, insufficient interest in learning, weak self-discipline, learning methods are not adapted and other problems.Starting from the necessity of improving the independent learning ability of college students, this paper discusses the methods of stimulating their independent learning motivation and improving their independent learning ability.This paper aims to improve college students' independent learning ability, help college students to better adapt to university learning, develop good learning habits, lay a solid foundation for college students to study and develop in the future, and help college students grow up.
