Research on Effect of Blended Teaching to Improve College Students' Learning Engagement

Abstract: :Blended teaching provides a strong support for the realization of information teaching in colleges and universities. Through literature review and learning situation analysis, college students' learning engagement has become an important factor affecting the effect of blended teaching. This study observed the comprehensive subject tests of 283 college students in a certain university after traditional teaching and blended teaching respectively through quantitative research, and extracted the themes by combining qualitative research focus group interviews. Based on the test and interview results, this paper puts forward the element map of blended teaching on the basis of exploring the community theoretical model. By strengthening the input of teachers in teaching design and countermeasure research, and following the main line of "progressive - integration - optimization - reflection -promotion", it constructs the learning community of teachers and students in blended teaching and learning.
