Research and Practice of Differentiated Teaching Mode in Higher Vocational Education under the Background of Million Enrollment Expansion

Abstract: Under the background of million enrollment expansion, there is a trend of diversification in the source of students. Students from different channels of entering higher education have great differences in learning background and cognitive ability. Teachers need to design differentiated teaching models according to the actual situation of students to improve teaching effect. Taking the course "Introduction to Rail Transit" as an example, first, formulate differentiated curriculum standards and teaching objectives for different students, then adopt differentiated teaching methods, and finally, carry out incentive differentiated evaluation and assessment for different students' potential.
