The Role of Academic Seminar in the Cultivation of Graduates

Abstract

Abstract: Graduate education is the main way to cultivate high-level innovative talents and an important cornerstone of building an innovative country. This paper took the Seminar team of plant genetic engineering graduate students in the Institute of Agricultural Bioengineering of Guizhou University as an example, summarized the organizational form of the academic Seminar system of the research group and the role of graduate students in the cultivation of scientific research ability. At the same time, it analyzed the problems existing in the implementation of academic Seminar and the solution strategies. It was expected to provide a reference for academic Seminar in the cultivation of comprehensive scientific research ability of postgraduates majoring in biology and bioengineering, and also provided a basis for the wider promotion and application of academic Seminar in postgraduate training.
