Teaching Reform of Rock Mechanics Based on OBE Concept——Taking Civil Engineering Major of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology as an Example

Abstract: Based on the concept of Outcome Based Education (OBE), combined with the problems in the teaching process of Rock Mechanics in civil engineering major of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, the teaching reform measures based on the concept of OBE were proposed. The reform and exploration are carried out from several aspects, such as course outline formulation, case teaching model, application of numerical analysis software, emphasis on process assessment and continuous improvement based on goal attainment. The research findings will provide certain reference for the teaching of the course, and also provide ideas for reference for the teaching reform of the course.
