Thinking on the Development and Characteristic Construction of Vocational Undergraduate Education

Abstract: :The pilot of program for vocational undergraduate education is a new stage in the development of vocational education, and it is also a key measure to improve the higher vocational education system and improve the quality of vocational education during the popularization stage of higher education. This article introduces the current development status of higher vocational education in China, analyzes the mechanism for promoting classified management, integrating the vocational education system, and implementing school enterprise cooperation in the development of vocational undergraduate education. In terms of characteristic construction of vocational undergraduate schools, suggestions are proposed to accurately position, adhere to professional characteristics, continue advantages, promote traditional characteristics, persist in innovation, and create teacher characteristics.
