Exploration and Practice of New Financial Talent Education Model in Application-oriented Transitional Universities—— A Case Study of Economics Major

Abstract

Abstract: The cross-integration feature of new financial and economic puts forward new requirements for talent cultivation in financial and economic universities, which requires the cultivation of compound and innovative new financial and economic talents. Hebei Finance University, as the second batch of application-oriented transformation pilot universities in Hebei Province, has established a new financial and economic talent cultivation strategy of "ideological and political education + professional education + scientific and technological education". Based on the above background, the economics major has constructed a "one starting point, two directions, three drives, and three projects" talent cultivation model and applied it in practice to cultivate compound and applied economic management talents in the directions of "economics + finance", "economics + industry", and "economics + data", achieving certain results.
