Abstract: With the vigorous development of the Internet of Things technology and its industrial economy, the construction of the Internet of Things specialty in higher vocational colleges urgently needs to accelerate the reform and innovation of engineering education. The construction of the Internet of Things comprehensive training room is an important link in cultivating high-end technical and skilled talents. Based on the concept of post course competition and certificate, under the background of the development strategy of the Internet of Things, this paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the Internet of Things training room, studies the construction objectives, construction ideas, construction content, and other aspects, and construct the environmental resource allocation of the training room, providing feasible strategies and directions to meet the emerging economy's requirements for the training of innovative talents in the Internet of Things specialty in higher vocational colleges.
