Thoughts on Improving the Teaching Quality of Engineering Mechanics Course for Engineering Management Specialty——Taking the School of Civil Engineering Architecture of Guizhou Minzu University as an Example

Abstract: Engineering mechanics is an important professional course in the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Guizhou Minzu University, involving a large number of disciplines. Students can develop hands-on skills in this course. There are some problems in the teaching of engineering mechanics course in the engineering management major, including low learning enthusiasm of students; More teaching content and fewer class hours; The textbook content is not rich enough, and students have limitations in learning knowledge. To improve the quality of engineering mechanics course teaching, a reasonable teaching plan should be formulated; Emphasize the combination of theoretical teaching and practical teaching; Adopting various teaching methods, reforming assessment methods, and improving students' comprehensive abilities.
