A Multi-Dimensional Integration System of Professional Talents Cultivation and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training in Public Management Education Based on the PBL Model

Abstract: The PBL (Problem-Based Learning) model, which originated in medical education and has been widely used in the field of natural sciences, is highly enlightening for the cultivation of talents and innovation and entrepreneurship education for the major of public administration. By adopting a "three-stage" training strategy, a multi-dimensional integration system of public management professional talent cultivation and innovation and entrepreneurship education based on the PBL model is constructed. That is, through the general education course stage, the ideological foundation for the cultivation of innovation ability of students in the major of public administration could be consolidated; through the professional course stage, from the three aspects of independent exploration and innovation, combined innovation with science and education, and integration of industry and education, students would be cultivated the concept and skills of innovation and entrepreneurship in an all-round way; through the internship stage, a comprehensive training platform for the scientific research ability and innovation and entrepreneurship ability of students in the major of public management would be formed, and the deep integration and collaborative development of professional talents cultivation and innovation and entrepreneurship training in public management education could be realized.
