Abstract: "Four new" economic forms have become a new direction of economic development. In this context, cultivating interdisciplinary talents with innovative and entrepreneurial abilities is particularly crucial. Universities need to make overall planning to better adapt to the development and changes of the times and undertake the task of cultivating high-quality talents. Relying on the "Internet +" competition and taking the improvement of innovation and entrepreneurship ability as the direction, we will focus on training compound talents and promote high-quality development in various industries and fields. This paper first analyzes the current employment situation of college students in the new era, then discusses the impact of the "Internet +" competition on college students. Finally, taking the "Internet +" competition as a starting point, it studies the effective path of cultivating college students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability.
