The Situation and Measures of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Local Universities

Abstract: According to the policies of the national innovation and entrepreneurship education, higher education institutions have carried out innovation and entrepreneurship education for students. Local colleges and universities especially put emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship education in order to train application-oriented innovative talents for local economic development. This paper analyzes the current implementation and problems of innovation and entrepreneurship education in local colleges and universities, in view of the inaccurate concept of innovation and entrepreneurship education, the unsystematic curriculum system, the insufficient coverage of education and the imperfect practical conditions in local colleges and universities. The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to help local colleges and universities improve the training quality of innovative talents.
