Student-Centred Teaching Exploration and Practice on the Basic Disaster Relief Medicine Course

Abstract: ObjectiveIn order to observe the influence of this combination on medical students' skill operation, knowledge acquisition and comprehensive performance, the teaching practice of "student-centred" was added into the course of basic disaster relief medicine; Methods35 clinical medical students of a university in 2018 were selected as control group and 35 clinical medicine students in 2019 as experimental group. The control group adopted traditional teaching method, and the experimental group adopted mixed teaching method, and participated in social practice after class; SPSS 20.0 was used for t-test to compare with the theoretical and skill evaluation results of two groups, the satisfaction degree of teaching was compared between the two groups by questionnaire; Consults The results of skill examination in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05); the students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group in terms of teaching satisfaction, improvement of self-confidence and autonomous learning ability (P<0.05); the overall evaluation of teaching in the experimental group was better than that in the control group (P<0.01); Conclusion"Basic disaster relief medicine" course combined with "student-centered" teaching practice can enhance students' interest in learning, self-learning ability, communication ability and clinical thinking ability, guide them to establish correct values and professional ethics, so as to play a go-od teaching effect.
