Abstract: Under the background of transformation and development, local colleges and universities need to cultivate applied talents, so it is imperative to deepen the reform of curriculum teaching. College physics is a general education course for all majors in colleges and universities, as well as one of the important courses to cultivate students' innovation and practical ability. Aiming at the present situation and existing problems of university physics teaching, this paper carries out the research and practice of curriculum reform from various aspects, changes the teaching mode, optimizes the teaching content, improves students' interest in learning, and strengthens their practical ability and practical application ability. In order to play a positive role in training application-oriented talents for each specialty in the new era.
