Practice and Exploration of Online and Offline Hybrid Teaching Based on Self-Made Screen Recording Video——Taking Structural Mechanics as an Example

Abstract: Structural mechanics is recognized as one of the most difficult subjects in civil engineering. The course group, based on self-made screen-recording videos and centered on students, carried out the teaching reform and exploration of structural mechanics course based on OBE concept under the new engineering background through the practice of online and offline mixed teaching for several semesters. Compared with traditional teaching, teachers change their roles to be the preparation of pre-class learning, the manager, organizer and guide of classroom teaching activities, the supervisor of after-class knowledge consolidation and the questioner, which stimulates students' interest in learning structural mechanics. Good teaching effect has been obtained in practice.
