Abstract: In view of some problems existing in the teaching process of the course Introduction to Energy Development, in order to give full play to students' subjective initiative and improve their learning effect, the reform of teaching mode is carried out under the guidance of OBE teaching concept. Through the establishment of a flipped classroom, give full play to students' subjective initiative, add popular science video and animation teaching to enhance students' concentration, integrate ideological and political elements into the teaching process, and cultivate students' spirit of loving their job and devotion to work; model experiments and virtual simulation experiments jointly support practical teaching and stimulate students' interest in learning. The course assignment adopts the team model to cultivate students' teamwork spirit and practical ability to further improve the classroom teaching and practical teaching links of this course, so as to stimulate students' interest in the course of introduction to energy development. The application example shows that the new teaching model has achieved good teaching results.
