An Analysis of the Practice of Gamification in College Physical Education Skills Teaching

Abstract: At present, the classroom teaching of physical education in some colleges and universities is too dull and boring, which leads to students losing interest in classroom sports. However, according to interviews, students like gamified teaching activities, such as contests or games with story plots. This paper uses the methods of literature, logical analysis and so on to discuss the practical application idea of gamification in the teaching of physical education skills in colleges and universities. Through the introduction of sports games, the decomposition of teaching steps, and finally through the game to show the teaching effect, this method can provide some teaching experience for the practical teaching of physical education in colleges and universities.
